Grillacoat Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Grillacoat website (the “Site”) and the purchase and use of any Grillacoat products, digital products, and gift cards (collectively, the “Products”). By visiting our Site, placing an order, or using our Products, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or purchase Products.

 

 

1. Definitions

  • “Grillacoat,” “we,” “us,” “our”: Grillacoat and its owners/operators.

  • “You,” “your”: any visitor, customer, or user of the Site.

  • “Site”: the Grillacoat website and any related pages, content, and services.

  • “Products”: physical products, kits, accessories, gift cards, and any digital materials offered for sale.

 

 

 

2. Eligibility

 

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase from our Site. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

 

 

3. Use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, or systems

  • Interfere with the Site’s operation, security, or performance

  • Use automated scraping, bots, or similar methods without permission

  • Upload or transmit malware, spam, or harmful code

We may restrict or terminate access to the Site if we believe you violated these Terms.

 

 

4. Product Information and Intended Use

We work to provide accurate descriptions and instructions, but results may vary depending on surface condition, preparation, application, heat exposure, environment, and use.

IMPORTANT: INTENDED USE / FOOD CONTACT NOTICE

Grillacoat is intended for non-cooking, non-food-contact surfaces on grills, smokers, griddles, and outdoor cooking equipment (for example: exterior panels, underside of hood, interior walls, grease areas, cabinets, and side shelves).

Do NOT apply Grillacoat to cooking surfaces where food sits or cooks directly, including (but not limited to) grates, griddle plates, cooking racks, rotisserie rods, or any direct food-contact surface.

You are responsible for reading and following all product labels, manuals, warnings, and instructions. Misuse may result in poor performance, damage, or safety issues.

 

 

5. Orders, Pricing, and Payment

 

Order Acceptance: All orders are subject to our acceptance. We may refuse, cancel, or limit any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inventory limits, shipping limitations, or pricing errors.

Pricing & Errors: Prices may change at any time. If an error occurs in pricing or product information, we may cancel the order and issue a refund.

Taxes & Fees: You are responsible for applicable sales taxes and any duties/import fees based on your location.

Payment Processing: Payments are handled through third-party processors. We do not store full payment card details.

 

 

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, weather, peak seasons, or other factors outside our control. Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery (or as required by applicable law).

If a package is marked delivered but not received, you agree to cooperate with us and the carrier in investigating the issue.

 

 

7. Returns, Refunds, and Store Credit

Returns are governed by our Return Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Return policy summary:

  • Money-back refunds are valid within 30 days of purchase if the bottle is unopened and not damaged.

  • If the bottle is opened or damaged, we will issue store credit only.

If there is any conflict between these Terms and the Return Policy, the Return Policy controls for returns/refunds.

 

 

8. Gift Cards

Gift cards:

  • Are delivered digitally unless otherwise stated

  • Are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash except where required by law

  • Cannot be replaced if lost or stolen unless required by law or we choose to do so at our discretion

  • Are redeemable only on the Grillacoat Site unless otherwise stated

 

We may void gift cards if we suspect fraud or unauthorized use.

 

 

9. Promotions and Discounts

Promotions and discount codes:

  • May be time-limited and can be modified or ended at any time

  • May not be combined unless explicitly stated

  • May exclude certain items (such as gift cards)

  • Are void where prohibited

 

 

10. Intellectual Property

All Site content (including logos, product names, images, videos, text, design, and packaging) is owned by Grillacoat or licensed to us and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit Site content without our written permission.

 

 

11. Reviews, Photos, and User Content

If you submit reviews, comments, photos, or videos (“User Content”), you represent that you own it or have permission to share it. You also grant Grillacoat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display your User Content for marketing and promotional purposes (unless prohibited by law).

We may remove User Content at our discretion.

 

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SITE AND PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that results will be identical in all conditions.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

 

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GRILLACOAT WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS OR LOST REVENUE) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE OR PRODUCTS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

 

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grillacoat from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or Products, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

 

15. Third-Party Services

The Site may use or link to third-party services (payment processors, shipping carriers, analytics, etc.). We are not responsible for third-party services or content.

 

 

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates become effective when posted with a new Effective Date. Your continued use of the Site or purchase/use of Products after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

 

 

17. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, or the Products will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

 

 

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

 

 

19. Entire Agreement

 

These Terms, together with our Return Policy and Privacy Policy (if posted), constitute the entire agreement between you and Grillacoat regarding the Site and Products.
